Hi fellow October filers, I got back from my trip to visit my fiancée only a few hours ago and although it's been more than 28 hours without any sleep I decided to run a scan... to find out that there

3/27/2018 "mid-full day" scan   This is gonna be today's "full day" scan. I'll usually do it later, but there doesn't seem to be more movement and after more than 30 hours awake I can't stan

It’s not a jump. One says received date one says submitted date. These are different in meaning. Your received date is still 5th as it shows on your paper noa1. The date you can submit inquiries though has to be after 10th (aka submittion date)

I know its only just begun but where are my VJers at??? I wanna see some VJ Octobabes with their approvals!!! (L) Looking forward to tomorrow... Lets burn this place down 

 

On a side note, v happy for July scanner extraordinaire @JSCGPV and his storybook approval.. well deserved. Enjoy the hell out of the rest of your trip man. Really made me smile today in what was otherwise a mopey day.

I can't believe this is finally happening. I'm so grateful for all the support we gave and received to keep each other sane during this torture.

 

Even though I rarely post anything and we're all complete strangers, I feel connected to each and every one of you and that we're all in this together. I wish all the happiness in the world to us and long live to our relationships. No government bureaucracy or anti-immigration agenda is going to keep two people who are willing to wait half a year just to be together from doing anything they can to be with each other. Love can move mountains and we have seen it ourselves.

 

We've made it this far, the worst has already passed and we can already see the finish line. Let's take a breath and cry a little if we need to, it's time to relax a little and know that our time has come.

 

Thanks @Naes and @Daniel P for your voluntary work, you make this wait a lot less hellish and you are of great value to this community.

What to do after NOA2:

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.
