Hi ChuAni,

My Beneficiary is in Nigeria as well. After NOA2, how long do you think it will take for the case to reach the Lagos Embassy, i ask because you know Nigeria is Special. Hahaha.

Also what is the website where you can download the packet 3 ahead of time instead of waiting for it to be mailed. And can one pay the medical fee and DS-160 in Nigeria or does it have to be in Dollars. i am also wondering if i can pay the medical fee and DS-160 for my fiance or do i have to send her the money to pay it herself.

thanks for all your help. Glad things are speeding up again.

Lol! It will take 3-4 weeks give or take. Nigeria is special and God is in Control!🙏

Website: https://ng.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/frequently-asked-questions/

The Medical and Visa fees can only paid in Nigeria by the Beneficiary. The Visa fee is paid in GTBank either in $ or NGN equivalent (no mixing of currency). You have to send the money to her.

You can fill the  DS-160 Online Form for her.

Things are moving and by God's Grace, everything will go smoothly.

Just received an email from USCIS saying that an RFE is on its way to me in the mail. I am so bummed.  You have no idea how many times I checked that application before sending it off...

And of course I'm leaving the country on Friday to go visit my fiance, so I won't even be able to address the RFE for 2 weeks.

NOA1 - October 3

Ooh! Sorry to hear about it, but RFE to NOA2 has really gone down. Some people have gotten Approvals after 8 days of responding to the RFE.

RFEs are not too bad, that means they have at least touched your case, I've seen some people from previous month who get approval 8-10 days after sending requested documents.

I'm sorry you wont be able to address the RFE until you get back!

Aaaannd... this means they’re touching even more cases because I only scanned the first 500 cases with dates of 10/2 and you’re 10/3. Look at the bright side ❤️ Enjoy your time with your fiancé too!!

In my case, I got an email telling me that a hard copy is in the mail to me now. My case status online still says “Case was received”, no change.
