Mine still says 'Received October, 10th'. It didn't change.

Then probably yours was created the same day it was received. (At least that’s what I’m guessing. Thinking of general filing systems)

Was there any "guideline" how old can the police certificate be? Or any other documents for that matter?

Each country may have things specific for them.

mine from Turkey is only valid for 3 months. But the one from japan is valid for a year.

Hope so :)

I just saw 1 name update for October 2. And I’m 99% sure that case will get it’s noa2 tomorrow. Today was a full rfe day no approvals seen anywhere, and I think that’s the only reason we didn’t see October ;)

I'm trying to eat home so I can post...

You deserve NOA2 this week, before April starts and September 15 is fewer. They are actually approving, but they have that method of updating 'RFE'.

That’s just the submitted date... for the inquiry. It is normal. they just stopped writing received dates so people will know the inquiry dates easier and it will make their job easier.

It is usually the day they sent you you the text for noa1 or 1 day before your notice receipt date.

Oh okay. that tripped me out when I seen that. Thanks for the heads up though!

Hello Octobros (So this one??)

Well I am just doing it for today because I felt like they are getting ready for October.

Today was a full RFE and updates only date in other months too, so these were a bit suspicious for me to see (especially because "name updated" status this close to adjudication usually becomes an approval the next day!)

10/02/17 3/22/2018 Your Current Status: Withdrawal Acknowledgement Notice Was Sent
10/20/17 3/22/2018 Your Current Status: Document Was Returned To USCIS
10/02/17 3/26/2018 Your Current Status: Name Was Updated
10/20/17 3/26/2018 Your Current Status: Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received

That last case got an RFE on 3/15 so I am not sure if it was an expedite or just got around the corner when things were getting ready :)

Good Luck!!!

In case anyone wants to check cases per dates:

I read somewhere on embassy web site that police certificate valid for 1 year. Inside of the country its valid some time (some countries 1 month, some 3) but embassy says that maximum 1 year old should be. I need to recheck. But there is no sence, ive been living in UK 2006-2007 and since then never even visit that country, ive got certificate dated 22.02.2018. I dont think if i will apply just as example in september this year it would be a problem if im not even visit that country.

Mine has in huge letters under it that states "Only valid for 3 months" so I think that should be checked with each country's system.

Ok,i found that page. There is says (cant take a picture, too big size) :

Police certificates must cover the entire period of the aplicant's residence in any area. A certificate issued by the police authorities where you now reside must be of recent date when presented to the consular officer. Certificates are valid for 12 month from the date of issuance.
