i know this subject was so many time on VJ but would like to ask one more time to make sure that all docs that we gonna have for the interview is gonna be enough. Question is about Affidavit of support. Everybody talking about it that they prepared or planning to do that... my fiance is emloyed and earning enough, but problem is that he doesnt have savings. On embassy web site in poland says that i as beneficiary will have to have documents that proves that i will not become ...bla bla bla,and affidavit of support is optional thing. So what you can tell me about this form.

please to corect me if i'm wrong

this is what i undestand fron this forum and from all my reasearches.

at the interview you have to proove that you're not going to become a public charge in the US.  so the affidavit of support is the document that can help you proove it. but for the affidavit to be an optional thing i realy don't know about it that way. here in my country in Togo west africa it's not optional it's requested and you have to provide it.

i join you on one side of the question about the savings; do someone who have enought incomes need to show his savings also ? that's is my question

I'm not sure about Poland but the affidavit of support is basically the petitioner sending the requested documents to the beneficiary to show proof that the petitioner can support and provide for the beneficiary once they enter the US and don't become a burden of the state.

Each embassy is different. I know for Jamaica you are required to bring the Affidavit of Support. I am not sure why the Polish embassy site stated that specific form but either way it's still an Affidavit of Support form. The good news is that when you get the NOA2 and your case is sent to NVC you will be notified of all required documents for your interview.

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

VJ documentation also seems to support the use of the I-134 as the affidavit of support: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Poland&cty=Warsaw
