It looks like there are age specific recommendations.. for example age 19-49 are req'd to have "Td or Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and flu during flu season" flu season ends March 31st by the way so that takes one off that list

ok great  friend i'll keep an eyes on that thanks for the information. it'll be a great event to celebreate and scherish every instant once this process is done

This is what the CDC says about the vaccination procedures for immigration

Procedures for the Vaccination Portion of the Medical Exam

The following instructions and accompanying tables describe the procedures that should be followed by civil surgeons performing the vaccination portion of the medical examination for any person who seeks adjustment of status for US permanent residence.

  • Review the applicant’s medical history and vaccination records.
  • Assess the applicant’s needs, if any, for laboratory confirmation of immunity.
  • Determine the vaccines the applicant needs based on his or her age, records, documented immunity, and information provided in Table 1.
  • Assess for contraindications and precautions that might apply to the applicant.
  • Administer vaccines, if indicated.
  • Complete the applicant’s Form I-693 and give it to the applicant in a sealed envelope for USCIS, in addition to a copy for the applicant to keep.

Lots of good info including the above on this page https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html about the vaccination requirements and process

Thank you very much, if here in Colombia it is a little complicated, in fact all this process is complicated and exhausting, hopefully it ends soon ...

The vaccine issue is very important. Some doctors during the medical won't complete the vaccine portion that you will need for the AOS part. Especially in Colombia. Make sure that during your medical you are adamant that they complete the vaccine portion form Ds3025 and that they give you a copy. It might be some more money if they are missing vaccines and they administer the shots there but is better than yo find out you need it for AOS and you don't have it. That will require going to a uscis certified doctor in the States to get it doneand you know our health care is not the best and it might be very expensive. Why pay twice?

That’s why I was going all mad woman about the vaccine issue yesterday... i had read a review about it in the colombia portal and just from previous experiences trying to get stuff done there it is all about money and can be incredibly frustrating. Believe me... mi prometido knows to be firm and demand what he needs.. I’m getting mad just thinking about it lol... flashbacks from dealing with the translation company I guess... I have good info/resources about the vaccines if anyone wants they can pm me or scroll back a page or so.. I really went on a rampage for info yesterday haha

Do I need to get any vaccinations from my doctor prior to my medical? I’m from the Uk.

Thanks

I would bring documentation of what you've had.. from what I could gather, ages 19-49 will be required to have Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and flu if it is flu season (flu season ends March 31st, I think October filers will be safe to say we don't need flu shot) here is where I found this info

https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume8-PartB-Chapter9.html

https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html

If you haven't already had them it might be easier to get them done at your medical but every country is a little different about how they administer vaccines so this part might be a little more "country specific" I would try looking through the UK portal... @Brittani said she found some good guides for the UK including info about vaccines
