Even without the last name problem I saw some couples not being able to get it because they were married and the status of k1 were no longer valid.

For me as I'm going to change (there's no way anyone can write my name correct in US.... it already means seafood in Japanese and went through this ridicule for a good 10 years... can't wait to change 😂😂😂) so I'll just get my SSN as soon as I can! Now if only I can get that approval first...

Good luck! I hope you get your NoA 2 soon!

Looking ahead here. Anyone have any insight on the number of September filers vs other months. I just stopped by there thread and it is shorter than ours so it made me curious.

It is shorther cause we are a chill bunch there.

but yes September overall has about 3300 cases so it's a short month. October is rather big in that sense.

Well I am October 30 or 31st or something like that so my odds of being after some November filers are pretty good, but also before some September filers because who knows how they work this stuff out.

Exactly and there are always cases that gets stuck so for me looking at this with giving it as big of a time frame I can give is the key to calmness.

Good luck to all of us! This year people suffered a lot, hope it will end soon.

I saw some prep talk about vaccines in the September thread... And I've read some Colombia reviews that spoke about issues with this part... I DO NOT want any delays on our end... well I don't want any delays period... but would you recommend (anyone with knowledge about this) to call the different offices (I believe there are 4 in CO approved to do the medical) and ask about the vaccine requirements? Just say like "Hey I'm applying for the K1 visa and I wanted to know what is the list of vaccines required and how much do you charge for each? and how can I prove if Ive had any of them"?

Look at your country link on here. I found a link on the UK with a complete list of vaccines required along with instructions on how to get there and all the documents required for the medical and also the interview. It was great information. I printed it out for my fiance to take back with him as a guide :)

Thats awesome! I did check the CO link on here and got some great info but nothing about vaccines it only says the MD will decide based on age and medical condition (ok... not helpful and makes me a little suspicious of those MDs) maybe I'm not finding the right link
