same thing happened to me I got excited when I got the alert on uscis app 

that the status had changed. Went from petition for fiancée to alien petition for fiancée.

Glad I saw this before I checked my app.. talk about disappointing.. But yea... hopefully it means...something???

It looks like my case was touched today.  The only thing that changed was from "Petition for Fiance" to "Petition for Alien Fiance".  I'm not sure what it means but at least it seems to have been touched by someone today so I think that would be a good sign.

Hi everyone! Happy Hearts Day. 💚 I dont know if you saw this as well but there's october filer that got approved already . And on their post it's not expedited. Im so happy for them I hope we soon gets our approval specially those previous months that still waiting as . 🙏🙏🙏

I don't know for android, sorry... I just use case tracker. 

 

But it to check my own case status I use the uscis website as that is faster than any app.
