I had the same feeling Thursday night but then the scans came out yesterday and I was SO excited! they touched all the way out to August 15!!! and made lots of improvement throughout July as well! It really turned my mood about the process around... We are still being made to wait a RIDICULOUS amount of time to be with our loved ones :( but the way they are moving is really giving me hope... I'm hoping we might actually start to see October movement early April... fingers crossed!! And I wouldn't be opposed to March either!

Hopefully it continues making good pace! :)

We won’t be seeing October scans for a while most likely, they did however reach August 15th :)

Hello Everyone

Friday was so good for all of us!! I hope everyone who is still waiting are feeling strong and positive!!

Although my data right now is only June-August, we saw approvals from May-August this week!

August started even stronger than July, and Yes we even saw people getting their noa2s under 180!

This is a new record! Even better than how July started!

The latest date touched is August 15, and it's only been a week since we started seeing movement in August!

They are already half way into the month!

There are two ways this can fall,

1) They will stop at 8/15 and do the first overall from 1-15 which they did in May but was a disaster so I hope this won't happen

2) They will continue with this speed, and They will reach the end of the month in about 2 weeks ( because there's 13 more work days left in August cases) and we will see them moving strong and fast...

For September only - I would say I am expecting timelines to go back about 10 days. And for September to start around last week of February to beginning of March.

These are all my personal estimations based on what we've seen so far and not about how it will be for every single case. Please give about at least 1 month for your case to be touched before panicking from the day they first touched your NOA1 date.

NVC times

Other than some people waiting for their case numbers a while longer than some after NVC received their cases, most NOA2- NVC  times are back to normal.

6-14 days seems like the average at the moment.

These calculations are only the cases that are updated online, There are lots of approvals and RFE's that are not updated!

Please register for USPS Informed delivery if it is available in your area.

Hi Octobers!! We filed our paperwork before getting officially engaged, with the distance it was just more practically that way . He proposed yesterday so now we are TRULY fiances. We are still holding out hope for a small Mid-June wedding. If things don't speed up we will only have 6 weeks in between NOA2 and wedding date. The Scandinavian consulate doesn't look as busy as others and NVC times are getting back to normal. What kind of things can we try to do beforehand to make the things we can control go smoothly ? I read on the Medical Exam guidelines for Scandinavia that the x-ray and blood panel need to be done less than 90days from the  medical appointment and the medical exam is valid for 6 months so he could hypothetically do the x-rays and blood tests in late March or April and have his medical exam in April - all before his visa interview in hopefully May? Is this correct ? Thank you for your help and all the best to all of you!!!!!

911 cases approved or RFE'd in just one week? That's pretty impresive. If they just kept that pace, the near future would look very promising to all of us!
