I am in the same situation, thinking to withdraw the paper filed application and then reapply online. Current wait times are at least 14 month for Houston.A friend of mine who filed (online) a week later than me got his oath ceremony  scheduled for next month.Not sure what are the consequences if have to face withdrawing my paper filed n400.

Appreciate your response. Not worried about the fee at this point. Can you think of anything else that i might run into if i have 2 applications at the same time?? The reason i am in a hurry is i may have to be outside of the country for almost 1 year starting this December.

Doesn't it take time to withdraw your application? I thought you need to submit your withdrawal request in writing first, and then wait for USCIS to consent your withdrawal. That sounds like another 3 weeks back and forth.

Unsure if you have to fully withdraw your first to be able to file a second online.

 

I would personally be wary of having two applications floating around in the system at the same time.

On the USCIS my account page it gives my estimated case completion date as May 2018 and at the bottom it says estimated wait time 2 days.  Can someone explain what that actually means?  I had my biometrics done on November 21st.  Many thanks

I am here in Florida and I did my fingerprinting in Tampa but until now I didn't hear anything from my case... waiting for too long.. same boat with me?...

It would be very interesting to know. Mine has been the same month and year for both. I wonder if the estimated wait time means you’ll get an update in 2 days? Let us know if it changes after 2 days

Did you apply online? if not, where do you see the estimated case completion date?
