N-400 October 2017 Filers

Would someone please update our timeline to read Fingerprints 11/22/17? Thank you.

Welcome! I filed N400 to Chicago in October 2017 when my I-751 was still pending at 13 months. Mid November I had fingerprints and my interview is scheduled mid December. I'm taking my spouse just in case for the interview. Now I am excited to study for naturalization.

I’m thinking that the message I got last week on the website is a mistake. It has been a little over a week since I saw the message that I got scheduled for the interview and that they will send me the letter and I have not seen the letter updated online nor have I received anything by mail. Though I find it strange that this message would show up on my case status if they didn’t schedule me..but at the same time, find it weird that I got scheduled so quickly.

when I got scheduled for fingerprints, the next day I was able to see the biometrics letter online, so that’s also why I think this must be a mistake

yes, I've been checking both sites. this one does not mention the interview scheduled.

That's good news, can you update your timeline on the list or add yourself if you are not on the list? when was your NOA and fingerprint and what is is the date of your interview.

Best thing you can do is send them a message using the inbox on your account, I sent them and it took them a day to answer, most likely their answer will have autogenerate section in it, but it will tell your current status. I sent them a message after my fingerprints were taken for some issue on my application and they answered me and had also details about my case saying that i am in line for interview even tho the system show that my application is under review

NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

My estimate time shows 13 Months. I never get "In Line for Interview" notice but get "Interview was Scheduled" this morning. I hope I will get the interview letter by mail soon.

Yes, I just went to  have a look at the processing time for Phoenix, and it says December 2016, so that's definitely great!

 

Please let us know once the letter is uploaded to your documents tab, and once you receive it in the mail!
