Does anyone know why none of us Online filers have had their status go to "In Line" for interview yet like quite a number who mailed in their applications have? I read from another forum that with the new system USCIS online filers will have their status move from Case Received to Scheduled for Interview? Just wondering how true that is.

AOS Timeline:

09/23/2014: Mailed AOS Package via FedEx
09/16/2014: Biometrics Letter; Successful walk-in
10/28/2014: Received EAD in Mail
01/23/2015: Interview, Approved on the Spot
01/23/2015: Card Production
02/04/2015: Received 2-yr GC in Mail

Removal of Conditions:
11/11/2016: Mailed I-751 Package via FedEx
11/14/2016: Package Received at VSC
11/17/2016: NOA1 Received in the Mail, Dated 11/14/2016
12/01/2016: Received Biometrics Letter; Notice Date - 11/26/2016; Biometrics Date - 12/15/2016
12/02/2016: Successful Early Walk-in Biometrics

10/02/2017: Received Approval Letter in the Mail (Dated 09/27/2017)

10/11/2017: New Card is Being Produced

10/13/2017: Card Was Mailed to Me

10/18/2017: GC in Hand

 

Naturalization (3-Yr Rule):

10/25/2017: Filed N-400 (Online)

10/25/2017: Application Received

10/25/2017: Receipt Notice Posted Online (pdf), Mailed

10/28/2017: Receipt Notice (NOA) Received in Mail

10/28/2017: Online Message: Biometrics Appointment scheduled (Letter Not Posted Online Yet, So Bio Date Unknown)

10/30/2017: Biometrics Appointment Letter Posted Online, Scheduled for November 14th

Legend: 
GC-Date: The 'Resident Since' Date located on your first green card.
Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS.
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS.
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

We did the fingerprints same day and I haven't get any update!! :(((

@viajero We have different field offices and/or different place where we got the fingerprints taken, that may be the reason why. Hang tight, day isn't over! But I hope you get yours soon! Best of luck to all of us!

From what I am seeing in August, I see they go directly to "Scheduled Interview" status.

That happened to me. It went from "case received", status didn't change even if i already had my biometrics letter and fingerprinting done, and directly to "in line for interview" about 1 week after. I'm thinking they don't bother letting you know that they received your prints, since it is quite obvious that they will receive it if you went to get them done.

Mine was the same until I got inline for the interview process. So it is just matter of days

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

From looking at the the September forum, it looks like the status changes to 'Inline for Interview' just a day or so before the Interview letter is issued with an interview date (sometimes the two happen on the same day) for Online filers.

 

From the same forum it also looks like us October Online filers should be getting our Interview letters next month.

So I went in for my biometric yesterday in Denver ASC. My appointment was 1:00pm but I got there 12:05 noon. Nobody was there and it was pretty quick. It only took less than 3 mins. And today I received and email from USCIS that there’s an update on my case. So I log in and this is my recent update.

 

We reviewed your biometrics. You do not need to do anything at this time.we will let you know if you need anything from you.                                     Estimated time 12 months 😮
