Okay...so I figured I might start checking my USCIS account (for giggles of course, because I don't expect anything different just now anyway). So I navigate to the bookmark I have and enter the receipt number and BINGO....nothing new, just as expected. I go to the "Login" button and try to log in and it says that my account is locked either due to too many attempts to log in (BS, I haven't even tried in months) or inactivity (Bazinga!) Anyway, it tells me to reset my password, so I jump through the flaming hoops and do so, only to have them reiterate that my account has been locked, yada,yada...

There are no options to reach out for help to unlock it. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm thinking I have to go in and create a new account with another email address, or something. Pretty stupid if that's the case....

Any guidance at this point would be much appreciated :)

This happens to me every few months. Just use the "Forgot password?" link and change your password.

Holy moley! What a pain in the rump that was. NOT a fan of navigating THAT page. Was FINALLY able to get a new password to work, and figured out how to get email and text updates (but I am not holding my breath for those...). I guess I will visit the site to keep my settings fresh,  but I have a strong hunch I will have to make a day trip to St. Paul for a passport stamp. Thanks for all of your input :)
