I see where this is going. Some left wing (probably antifa) nut job broke the law and obtained an illegal firearm (or modified it illegally) so let's ban law abiding citizens from owning any type of gun whatsoever.

I know what you mean, but when there are sides trying to make it political in the “never let a good crisis go to waste” mentality then it would be nice to know some motivations.

Eh. I'd rather not cast pearls before swine you know? A terrorist is a terrorist - they just want to kill people, because they are stupid nutjobs motivated by any number of reasons. We'll probably find out he had the same sort of nutty instabilities as his father did. I think we'll probably find out deeper motivations soon... for instance this breaking report says he may have wanted to target a different site earlier on. I have a lot of questions about this case, because for some of it, it seemingly requires me to suspend disbelief as to the actions one individual who apparently had no military background or training could accomplish.. but we have little details for now. He certainly had explosives, skills, and was well funded and armed... and yet he lingered in his hotel room for over an hour before being found, and killed himself? I think to myself (disturbingly) that he could have caused even more carnage by just wandering about the hotel afterwards... or simply slipping away quietly., or making use of the explosives he thought to bring with him but didn't use. It's all very odd. But whatever, he's now a dead terrorist that once again we won't call a terrorist or tiptoe around the word for some reason. But that doesn't excuse the want to solve a problem we have, where bad guys (any bad guys) can accomplish something of this magnitude.

So here is the plan, 

every leftist will get a firearm, AR-15 is good but any carbine will work. 

If we can get it at a gun show even better. 

Then we modify the trigger Assemblies, this will ruin the public opinion of the Second Amendment in heartbeat and we will repeal it.   EzeePezee.
