Form G-325 Address dates

Hi, I'm filling form G-325 and I find it very difficult to remember all the dates that I have moved in USA. In the past 5 years, I moved at least 5-6 times.

My question is first,

Does the ''applicant residence address'' counts all the places that I changed the address with DMV only or Post Office as well? I have lived for few a months with my friend but I only changed the address with the post office. The reason why is that I knew it will be only temporary and I'll move again shortly for a long period of time. Should I still put that address there or leave it out? Do they check it that deep?

Second, do the dates really, really matter? I have an idea of estimate when I moved but not exact dates. I'm afraid that they check it somehow and I'll look like I hide something.

Maybe some of you know a way of how I can retrieve the past addresses with dates somewhere?

There is no G-325, only a G-325A. The G-325A is no longer used. See the guides here and the checklist at the bottom of the I-130 instructions. Be sure you are using the latest version of the forms.

You should provide all addresses where you have lived, including only temporary residences. There's not a hard definition of what qualifies as a residence, but things like a hotel stay or staying a couple weeks with a friend or family member don't count. Staying a few months should probably be included. The information should be as accurate as you are aware. If you put it on there and it doesn't matter to your case, they'll just skip over it.

Thank you so much for your reply. You are right, I made a mistake and I do fill G-325A. I'm going to search more into the I-130 instructions.

I was just afraid that it really matters. Especially since filling the form I-485 they ask as well for fast address but they want the exact dates.

You do not use form G-325A, that is outdated. It's the I-130 & the I-130A. Go to the USCIS website & download the latest instructions so you know exactly what to send.
