This is a terrible idea. Why would someone work illegally under the table when they're on the process to becoming legally able to work as a result of AOS and risk derailing that process?

i was going to say the same thing! but each their own i guess. at least they have been warned.

Did you have any RFE's? We haven't gotten any for any of the forms we sent in...I guess they are just running way behind. :(

My wife is October 24th. Being processed at the NBC. Raised an SR two weeks ago, still nothing.

I raised a SR as well and haven't heard anything. I also have my state representative and senator working on it now, because this is just taking too long. :( I had a job interview this morning, so fingers crossed that I get it while my husband is still waiting on his permit. So much for an estimated 6 weeks. :(

Nope. I raised 4 SR so far for a typo in my 765 and 1 SR to expedite. Calling back on the 19th :unsure:

Oh wow. I am so sorry. :( I'm so embarrassed at how my country handles immigration matters. This is terrible. :'(

for those of you who already got their gc - what is your resident since date? is it the date of your interview? approval date? or AOS NOA1 date?

 

i'm confused because there is a discussion in one of the threads im following and one user got a gc which starts on his PD date and he called tier 2 and they said its correct.

Me! :( I applied on Oct 30th and decided to call today. The officer raised a SR and said that if I don’t contact me until the 13th to call them back. 

 

I also asked about the advance parole document and he mentioned that they are currently processing September cases.
