oops -- i misread and thought Yaztalksalot's reply was the original (and note just a quote)  congrats!

Thanks :) Something I did find interesting is that people on certain forums have been heavily pushing the CR1 option over the K1 saying the K1 is considerably slower but my experience from K1 application to green card was about ten months overall so it's not nearly so slow as a lot of people imply (it you're lucky like I've been)

I think it makes sense in your case for sure. I had no idea the AOS process could take so long depending on location, so might go the CR1 path if we could do it over again. No changing course now though :)

For myself personally? Ive been entering my receipt number every day here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Until Jan 10th,all 3 were coming up invalid, so no way to track anything. At that point, the tracker for my AoS registered saying "As of January 9, 2018, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status for interview." Nothing since, but it can take anywhere from a month or two up to a year to get an appointment depending on where your getting interviewed.  The tracker is unreliable at best; Id give USCIS a shout if you're curious about where you stand.

Sorry if that was out of nowhere. Just was curious where you were looking. Thanks for the info.

It’s been 118 days, no response on EAD, AP, or Green card. Stuck in case was received. Awaiting interview scheduling.

We called asked to be transferred to tier 2, the lady was like “we don’t transfer to tier 2 anymore”

Do you mean they do not transfer to T2 anymore for today? I had a similar experience because T2 officers were about to finish work for that day east standard time.

Hello! I’m a January filer. I’m tired of staying at home and wait for any update of my application. Anyone knows how to earn money at home? 😂

Here are some ideas.

Doing some investment maybe? Open a stock trading account and trade some stocks? I don't think one needs Stock Trading Authorization Document, or STAD.

Or start a business? One should not need Entrepreneurship Authorization Document, or EnAD, not to be confused with EAD, mentioned below.

Just as long as you are not employed as any employer would check one's Employment Authorization Document, or EAD, or other proof of being authorized to work in the US. e.g, a green card or US passport.

Correct me if I am wrong VJers :)

Oh I didn't know you could put in a inquiry online. Just did it for my case(NOA1 Nov 2nd) and they say I should have a response by Feb 17th... Sigh this is so frustrating.

You did a service request even though it had been less than 90 days...? Why?

I'd suggest looking for work and seeing if you can get any interviews (unless you're in a high demand industry). It'll be a learning experience, and it takes a long time to finally start working - it's a long process. I got my EAD over a month ago and am still looking for work.

Also, another thing related to jobs. I was recently contacted by a recruiting agency, asking about my application for a job they posted. In the end I didn't get a chance to interview because this agency only works with GC or citizenship holders (they really didn't care about my work authorization). And I was so focused on and excited about getting my EAD, thinking that it'd solve all my problems...

Tier 2 wont resolve your problem.....you can create SR online if needed, but again with the high volume of petitions your best bet is really wait. There are a significant amount of people in Set, Aug and even July that are still waiting their EADs/AP.

It is hard and I completely understand but one thing we all should have in common is patient. This is a stressful process and without patient the only thing we will gain is eye wrinkles.

Good luck
