Congratulations!! Wow, I do not even have combo card yet and you already do not need yours.

Guys, when do USCIS update online tracker for EAD when yours is approved? I heard from someone that he received his tracker update at about 8 PM Chicago time.

Do they do that at 8 PM every day? Or it is random throughout a day?

Hi,

My EAD/AP online tracker on USCIS website was updated the same time when I received the texts & emails.

The USCIS App Tracker on the other hand didn't update until 2-3 days later.  I'm not sure if they have a specific time frame as to when to send the updates, but I received mine around around 5PM Pacific Time.

I received my first text messages after midnight, EAD at 8AM and GC at 6PM. Seems pretty random?

We're at 91 days and thinking of filing an SR. Is there any benefit to doing it via phone instead of just using the online form?

We made 2 online service requests- both of which went unanswered. Then we called and made one via phone and that one was marked 'complete' and my EAD was approved a few weeks later...not sure if it was just a coincidence, but the phone SR seemed to help. Though I do know of other filers who made multiple SRs, both online and via phone and all have gone unanswered...

There is no difference and to be honest, there are so many people who have filled a SR and it was never touched, so it is really up to you whether to open or not. EAD/APs are been approved anywhere frm 90 to 130 days. Time line has increased significantly.

Just came out of my interview and I'm dizzy happy to have been approved! My wife and I had a fairly long wait as there had been some sort of admin confusion moving over to the new USCIS building here in Montana (and we were forgotten about in the waiting room for two hours - they said they didn't have the file lined up so they assumed we had cancelled)

So after my wife finally snapped waiting and went up and asked someone about the wait, they got us into an interview in about ten minutes. They swore us in, asked a few relationship questions. Then they went through the forms asking a lot of the yes/no questions and checked all the answers I gave on the I-485. Finally they asked us a few more relationship history questions and about our house etc.

Then the officer said she was going to approve us but because of the admin delay she might not be able to put it in till tomorrow. The lady then gave us the form about the conditional permanent residency and took us out to take copies of bits and pieces of paper evidence.

We waited about two minutes while she took the evidence copies on the way out and then she said congratulations and sent us on our way!

All in all a great experience and a pretty thorough but not too hard for actually married couple who live together.

Couldn't be happier and now we are just waiting for the card which she said could be a week or so.

Anyone know how EAD's with a NOA1 Date of roughly 91 days ago (October 24, 2017) is determined? Is VJ looking at the most commonly updated date in the timeline to make a guess at where most of the agents are at in the queue? Also I was assuming the tracker for EADs straight up wasn't working, so how could they even determine success beyond people receiving their EAD in the mail?
