yeah, i think that's the best. if they still cannot locate it, consider applying for the new card since you are already there anyway. i dont think it will cause a problem if the USCIS one comes later by some miracle as it will be the same number.

case to case, it usually depends on how fast they will receive the papers you sent to supplement your RFE and what type the initial problem is. Once they got it, they will start processing. Some takes a week or 2, some even a month.

They received it on the 11/13 and it was only for birth certificate that somehow they couldn’t find it with my package. 

Haven’t heard from them since. No ead or anything :(

Shouldn’t be that long. I got approved on the 9th. Card in hand on the 18th. Received the notice in the mail sometime in between.

i just realized that the government shut down. Hahaha! so SSA might even be closed until who knows when. Bummer~
