I cant answer with 100% but most likely she will get it separate, one card for AP and another one for EAD. Thats the thing when you apply for EAD and AP separate.

Got it, thanks for your reply. I'm just surprised that the AP is getting processed before the EAD since the AP was filed weeks later, but I guess there's no rhyme or reason to USCIS timelines.

"I guess there's no rhyme or reason to USCIS timelines." You literally SPOT ON. Keep that in mind and you will avoid many frustrations.

It says on there that you should receive your ssn card no later than 7 business days after receipt of EAD! and to visit or call your nearest SSA office if you haven't received it after 7 days.

i think AP processing does run a little bit faster than EAD. for one, AP does not require biometrics so i assume it is not dependent on background checks being completed (which often delays EADs). even VJ timelines often show AP approval dates before EAD approval date. i also think your wife will receive a paper AP (not a card) per that status.

GUYS!

Had my interview today. Went really well. The office was on time, the officer was a sweet lady with an accent similar to mine  

She confirmed all the information I put in I-485 and all the security questions. Then asked me about my previous visas, how we met, who was at the wedding. Asked my husband how he decided to propose and if he’s met my family. 

Asked us if we have any more photos but unfortunately we forgot them at home this morning. She said it’s not a problem. 

Finally, she asked to see my medical and confirmed that everything looks good and they don’t need anything else from us. She recommended us for approval and explained the ROC process. 

Overall was super easy and painless. I love Cleveland ❤️

Hi guys  

Seeing you guys getting good news makes me happy and gives me hope. I want to share me timeline with you guys and ask a question.

papers sent on 9/28

Got messge and email on 10/6 (Uscis case was received)

got bio notice on 10/27

rfe 11/01

bio done on 11/7 

Request for initial evidence was received on 11/13. 

I haven’t heard from them since, no update or anything. On my case tracker shows that it has been 107 days since the last update for my I-765 and 130. 

Does the RFe slow down the process guys ??? I’m getting stressed and keep checking everyday ☹️

now I know infopass is so much helpful!!! USCIS customer service always told me wait, and even i didn't get any respond from SR (it already passed the date they said they would respond). and after I met a person at the infopass, my online status was changed to "new card is being produced" in 2 days!! It just changed last night about at 10 pm! I didin't expect them to change the status because it seems like they don't change online status for anyone haha. so now i;m hoping to get my EAD card finally after 1 month and a half from when I was approved haha what a unlucky person, the printer screwed mine up

hey @shakeyy and @Mica711 looks like im getting my new ssn card today. informed delivery says its included in today's mail delivery. 

 

@eunahlee92 wow finally, congratulations! i'm glad your issue has been sorted out. your card should be with you in less than a week.
