Quick Question! (K1 Holders)

Part 2 on the I-485 Form Question 3-9

Do K1 Holders Need To Fill That Each Out Regarding Principal & Derivative Applicant Since We Don’t Have a Priority Date???

Part 2 of I-485...

Answer to Question 3 is your I-129F Receipt number starting with WAC..........

Answer to Question 4 is your I-129F Approval date

The above two details can been seen on your NOA2 of your I-129F petition.

You may skip from 5a to 9

Umm they say it usually takes 3-4 months so hopefully by Jan-Feb 2018. 🤞🏽

Usually it takes 90 days but now the process got little slow so its taking anywhere between 90-120. A few July filers are receiving their EADs now (which is about 90 days range)

Hi Guys,

I started the process back in March 2017 with I-130. 3rd of March is my priority date.

However, after the approval of I-130 I continued the process with the AOS package.

Thus, priority date for I-485 is the same as I-130 - 3rd of March, but the AOS package was received by USCIS only in October 2017.

The question is should I stick to this thread  or March filers? I'm so confused )) I guess priority date guarantees spot in the line and I won't need to wait another 6 months...

Your answers will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

If you filled I-130 and I-485 concurrently back in march than you should be closer to the interview than someone that filled for AOS alone in October.

No, I submitted I-130 (in March) and I-485 in October, so I thought maybe I'm still in the line with March people since my NOA for I-485 priority date says March, why wouldn't they put October?
