Adjusting from a K1.Haven't received an EAD. Got a RFE dated January 5th; discrepancies between the names on my forms and the names on USCIS record. I did what everyone else did and put my married name on my forms. Also put my maiden name in 'previous names used'. Sent 3 certified copies of my marriage certificate. I dont know what they are asking me for. Anyone had similar RFE? Just sad.

This is an unusual RFE. are you sure all the names match in your previous forms ie no typos? do they all match with the proof of identity you submitted ie passport, birth certificate?

I would just call and ask them to make an inquiry on why it’s taking so unusually long . You can ask T2 they usually have more info.

I had my medical exam yesterday.

As expected, I need the flu shot. I also will need the Dtap since when I was a baby in my country I received DT only so I need the P part (pertussis) haha.

Will get both on Thursday since they did the TB skin test and said it can't be combined with vaccines.

The doctor assured me everything will be complete then, thank god.

To be honest, I can't wait to be done with the interview on Friday!

I'm already looking for flights back home for the end of February. Even if there's a delay with my GC, I'll use my AP.

The medical exam, vaccines and blood work altogether came to about $750.

I went to dr Marina Poliakova in Cleveland and she was super nice and so were the other ladies in her practice.

Interestingly (and annoyingly), I don't see anyone adding an "approved" date for the EAD since January 12th: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadlist.php?cfl=0&op1=app&op2=d&op4=1&op5=4,7,11,12

No idea if these gaps are normal or not...

Just an update!

I went to the infopass today because I still don't have EAD card after approval (12/7/2017).

The lady told me that the card or something was caught in the printer, so it was never produced. I called USCIS 4 times before I tried infopass and nobody was helpful. BUT the lady there emailed NBC directly about my situation. and she told me it might 3-5 days to produce the card, and 7-10 days to ship. so just come back if I don't get it in 2 days. she said I might have to come back for biometric bc it's possible my biometric information can be gone. Idk how their system works, but i hope I can just get the card since my school will starts soon and I can't make time to go back to the office for biometrics.

Well January 15 was a holiday and USCIS was not at work, that could explain why the approvals are lagging a bit behind this week. Perhaps people will get mail notices toward the end of this week with January 16 approval dates.
