Hi Everyone! Happy New Year. I registered to this site to know more about the filing of AOS. My husband and I are filing for it this January however I am stuck with the I-485 supplement A am I supposed to submit it?

I entered through Tourist visa. I’ve been Visiting him here when we started dating but last Nov 17,2017 we just decided to get married then will go through this process. I am quite surprised with all the paperworks I need to do we hardly know about this process but somehow we seeked help but didnt hired an atty.

We are targeting to successfully file our papers without problems because I need to go back to the Philippines in time for our big wedding on Jan 2019 we are almost done with the preparations prior my trip here so Im just worried I wont make it on time.

Hope someone will share their experience with me. Goodluck to everyone filing or already filed theirs papers. God bless you all!

Lots of info on this site you just have to look for it. The guides here are very helpful

I wouldn't trust the tracker. It's been over 2 months/ well after biometrics and it's still saying my receipt number is invalid/not registered (taken at NBC). I'm going to laugh if I get my green card appointment letter before it's ever updated. I called and she said not to call back unless it's been over the 90 day timeframe they set for the EAD. Seems like they've dropped the ball on keeping up for a lot of people.

Just call the USCIS hotline and ask the customer support officer if they can connect you to a tier 2 officer.

Some officers will ask you what your issue is and will try to resolve it or some will connect you directly to a tier 2/schedule a call back.

10/4/17 receipt date.

Do SR?

You should def do one but you might not hear anything back right away.

Going on 98 days now. First SR told me that it’s still under review and to wait. Second SR i put on January 2 and when I checked earlier still hasn’t been assigned to officer. I’m gonna try calling T2 again tomorrow to see  why it’s taking them so long. I have a family function to attend on February 10 back home so I really need AP. Best of luck with your SR! It’s worth a shot ...

My receipt date is the same. I raised an SR on the 86th day. I talked to the Level 1 officer though and she told me to wait for 15-30 days. I'm going to be calling them again this Friday and ask to speak to a level 2 (tier 2) officer.

You should call them and tell them you straight away want to talk to level 2 officer since its been over 90 days. Let us know what they say.

Hoping we all hear something this week!! *fingers crossed*
