Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between December 31, 2017and January 11, 2018*.

First time I’ve seen a day in 2017. It’s getting a little faster now. Good news.

Hello!

We sent off our AOS package on Friday and FedEx tracking says it will arrive tomorrow morning (Monday October 2nd) So thought I'd start a new thread for anyone else filing in October! 😊

I entered on a K1 Visa on August 11th , and we married 3 weeks later! I've filed for EAD/AP also. I've blogged about my entire immigration journey so far and the link is down below! Good luck to everyone , fingers crossed our wait isn't too long ❤️

Morning Guys,  I have a quick question and I Blv ur answers will clarify my doubt. Could u please tell me how much you paid to file for your AOS with EAD and AP included? Why wife said we would have to pay for EAD separately while we file for the i458. Which will be around $1700. Can anyone tell me how much everything cost in total.. Tnx.

When I filed on October it was $1140 + $85 for the biometrics..  I sent I-485, I-765 and I-131. And even if you dont send for the EAD/AP it is the same price,  so total AOS was $1225.

If you need the I-130 its $535 for that one. (If filling concurrently).

please doublecheck the uscis website. Fees change from time to time.

Thanks for this response, You have really cleared my doubt.. Btw do u think we should include an affidavit of support with the pkg? Although I came in on a K1 visa and it was earlier submitted.

Yes, you will need to submit an i-864 with the AOS, as far as I know the requiremts are a little different from the k1 to the AOS, 125% instead or 100% of the poverty line.

Hey Everyone,

Just an update as promised, I received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today. So very quick from when I received the NOA2s this Saturday (12/09). It has at the bottom of the card "Serves as I-512 Advanced Parole", you get a little information sheet about using the card for AP and a little pocket to store the card in also. Picture is in black and white and your fingerprint is also on the card :)

The letter that the card is attached to tells you to keep the notice should for any reason you need to extend or replace your card, you submit the notice the card came on and it will "speed your application".

hey , congratulations, i m one of your blog s followers , and one month after you AOS filer. this is great news for me as well, was thinking in NY is gonna be slow , but happily I was wrong

cheers!!
