guys just want to asked once u had combo card u can find job ryt away?

If you're asking about permission, you're allowed to work since day 1 of having the card. As far as finding jobs goes, i for one have resumes at the ready and will be spreading them all across town! I can't work in my field here and honestly, after all this waiting, even mcdonalds crew member sounds fantastic.

It's very slow to load. I used a laptop to access it yesterday. I got an e-mail for yesterday's mails late in the evening already. So i guess they're down.  For my address, the Packages are up to date though. Just the mailpieces are not being scanned consistently

Hi guys, I am pretty sad... Just got a RFE on the mail today. I thought it was my EAD and AP card but no..

What I don't understand is that they are saying that the name I provided on the form doesn't match other USCIS records because on the forms I used my married name, Marina Giallonardo, but the records say my name is Marina Louzada (my maiden name)

I sent the package my wedding certificate, apparently, that was not enough to prove the name change?! I am so confused!

That's super weird! That's how a lot of people are ensuring they get their GC in their married name - by simply typing it that way in the forms!

I don't really know what kind of evidence you can provide except for your marriage certificate which is legal proof of the change. But you already provided it... Oh, USCIS, what a mess. Maybe try calling them to clarify the situation.

That really sucks. What did they ask you to send back on the RFE? Do you have a state license or something on your new name? If you do you could go to the brazilian embassy and apply for a new passport with your new name.

Huh? That's so confusing...omg. Please call them and maybe see if you can speak with a Tier 2 officer. And on the forms did you also put other names used by you before? Cuz thats what I did...i put my married name even though there is no ID to prove same, as well as my maiden name below it where they asked other names used. And a lot of persons did that as well before us and no trouble...I bet its an error by USCIS. Sigh...i'm sorry dear :(

My SSN Card has a middle name but I provided that in AIW during Bio. I wonder if I will get a RFE. Your issue is correctable though.

Hi, guys so I will call them on Monday to see what is going on...

Basically, they asked me to send evidence of my name change so some sort of ID, wedding certificate, etc.

What I think is weird is because I sent a copy of my wedding certificate with my application and on the forms when they asked for other names used I stated my maiden name. I have a SSN with my married name on it and I tried getting a state ID today but they wouldn't let me because my I-94 is already expired.
