hey yaz did you use the form with the ssn application already built in?

My lawyer did the work. I am sure he used the newest one he was telling me about. I do have a SSN and it showed in the screen where I did Bio. I want to get a replacement card.

Hey Everyone,

Just an update as promised, I received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today. So very quick from when I received the NOA2s this Saturday (12/09). It has at the bottom of the card "Serves as I-512 Advanced Parole", you get a little information sheet about using the card for AP and a little pocket to store the card in also. Picture is in black and white and your fingerprint is also on the card :)

The letter that the card is attached to tells you to keep the notice should for any reason you need to extend or replace your card, you submit the notice the card came on and it will "speed your application".

Yay! Congrats 🎊

Hi everyone, new to this forum but I’ve been lurking for a while. Congratulations on the people who have already received their EAD/AP!! Makes me happy and hopeful!!

Question to the ones who got it ... Did you receive your biometrics specifically for 765? I received biometrics for 485 and saw some people here saying that you just have to go to one app and not for each one (485&765) if you filed concurrently. They already filed a service request for me at the call center to inquire if they’re waiving it for 765 for me. Said they weren’t sure.

timeline so far:

10/2 - USCIS received forms (concurrently filed)

10/14 -  NOA1 issued for all forms

10/27 - Biometrics App done for 485 (walk-in)

Currently going on day 72. Fingers crossed !

Sorry please ignore my question. The Biometrics notice says it’s for both 485 and 765.

I also corrected my timeline:

10/2 - USCIS received forms (concurrently filed)

10/10 -  NOA1 issued for all forms

10/19 - Biometrics notice issued for 11/1

10/27 - Biometrics App done (walk-in)

10/30 - Courtesy Letter Sent for 693

I just called USCIS Customer service to ask when I will be able to check my case online, they didn't have an answer to that but they also told me that everything looks great with my case and I will definitely hear from them soon and that right now I am in a queue for being scheduled for an interview. They didn't tell me anything about the EAD, just said that everything looks good... I hope I get scheduled soon, I for sure know that my local office is not that busy at all!! Fingers crossed for all of you too!!

Im thrilled for you, and glad to hear an agent was sympathetic. It's such a pain in the butt when all of the three receipt numbers show up invalid, and you have no idea where you stand. I'm on day 42, so I'm thinking of calling them on Monday if it keeps up. Sounds like a few others were told to wait even longer to register an issue, which is ridiculous.

Also very optimistic to hear fellow member getting their EAD notices. May not be waiting until early February like VJ is estimating! :D

Keep me posted if the call will make a difference! The agent that I was talking with yesterday gave me a phone number of the uscis tech support and told me to call them and ask if they can reset my receipt numbers or something like that so I can be able to check them online, but unfortunately when I called the person who answered really didn't know what a receipt number means and can't do anything to the system, which was really weird. He told me his job is just to help people with signing up in the website.....

BTW we have a very similar timeline with you, from which state did you file your documents?

I mailed it on 10/2/17. Was it available then? If yes, then I would get RFIE/RFE?

No, you will not. They updated the form in July, but then they revised the form in October 2 again.

When I started to fill my papers I was using the version of July. Then when they made the new update I changed for the new form because this option of to get the SSN. So, you are good. You sent the right one.

So I haven't been to the post office to check my mail in a week (we don't get mail at the house) and as I opened my PO box I saw the tiny letter from USCIS in between all the magazines and junk. The moment I saw the yellow paper inside I panicked lol

I was convinced it was a RFE for the I-864 as I feel that's the most common one. I had a couple more errands to do but when I finally opened it, it just informed me that I haven't sent I-693 and if I got an interview notice, I should just bring the results with me.

Ah, the relief!

12/15/2017 Interview notice - interview is scheduled for January 19th! Holy #$%^ that's less than 3 months from PD!

01/02/2018 EAD + AP approved

01/16/2018 Combo card delivered

01/19/2018 Interview - recommended for approval

01/22/2018 New card is being produced
