hey guys, hope all is well. sent my application after getting an ref for filing on outdated application (i485), they sent back the i-765 (EAD) alone for incorrect filing fee. However, this is inaccurate because i filed all documents together. So i sent the package back with a copy of my i-797 notice as proof that it was all filed together and 1225$ was paid at that time. 

 

My question is does this restart the timeframe?

For my understanding you will have a different PD for your EAD. You can send an  ecpedite request for it and base that it was a USCIS mistake.

Nobody really knows, my friend. It will come on its own time. The best thing to do is wait for the 90 days and have your congressman do an inquiri for you.

guys just want to asked if u received biometrics does that means no RFE? and wen will the interview after biometrics how many months need to wait agter biometrics appointment to interview? thabks in advanced

No it doesn't mean that. We got one after our biometrics was done

One week after prints and it said our co-sponsor didn't meet the requirements so we needed to add one or get a new one

That's odd. I filed Nov. 27th via USPS, they received Dec 1, got 4 emails and texts the 6th, now waiting for hard copy. I filed i130, i485, I765 and i131 concurrently. I only file 1 G1145 as well

They can issue a RFE at any time, even at your interview.

The biometrics is the quick part. Now the real wait begins. It will depend on your field office to determine how long you have to wait. Some very busy ones can take over 1year, like, NY, CA, TX, MN..Some places as nos as busy and the process can be as quick as 90 days.

What you can do, to have an idea, look the USCIS processing times for your field office, also do a quick timeline search on VJ and compare the timelines for your field office. That might give you an idea.

Hi Guys, 

 

So happy to say, I received my NOA2s approvals for both my EAD and AP today!!! Two separate letters for each, although the EAD letter did say that my card will also show that I am approved for AP, so I'm not sure if I will receive the combo card or the EAD card and then the AP document separately.... I will let you know when I receive the card which I am assuming will be next week! 

 

My online status still reads "Case Received" for both EAD/AP, so the online tracker doesn't seem to be working accurately!

 

I sent my package off on 09/29

USCIS received on 10/02

NOA on 10/11 

Bio Appointment 11/06

NOA2s 12/09

 

So 2 months and 7 days to get approved, cannot believe it!
