My joint sponsor are naturalized citizen only. They used to be citizen of another country so their birth certificate won't matter to them.

I thought birth of country doesn’t matter as long as they are USC and have shown proof of it?

Yes any document that will prove of them being a USC and that could be either birth certificate, passport or naturalization cert.

hi guys. had my biometrics done this morning. i timed it and i was in and out in 12 mins.

as i was leaving the person who did my biometrics said that i am supposed to receive something from them in the mail. she could not explain exactly what it is though, but alluded to something being "checked". do you guys know what this is all about?

Im not sure. I’ve heard of people having to do biometrics more than once due to them not being able to run fingerprints. I’ve never heard of anyone getting a heads up in person though. Could be anything! If there is no update online its probably not RFE. I got a courtesy letter because i didnt submit i693, it was not an rfe so the status didnt change online. It could be anything really.

Yes Application Information Worksheet (AIW)

I think it is because they want to make sure it matches what is in the application. They give you that sheet back to take home with you though.

wow, that was fast, good for you!
By the way, you're from California too? How come I haven't received any NOA letters and yet we have the same date for packet received and a day late for NOA via text. :( I hope I'll receive mine soon.

How common is to get a RFIE/RFE at the Interview?

If they feel they need more evidence from you they can issue a RFE. Thats why people use to take as much evidence as possible when they go to the interview.
