the biometrics appointment will be another letter, separate from the NOAs.

give it a little more time. some people say NOAs can come up to 3-4 weeks after receipt.

They will send you a different letter.

 First you get the NOA hardcopy and in our case, about a week later we received the Biometrics Appointment 😊

Just came back from my biometrics appt. It was fast! I got there 30 min early and I didn’t have to wait for to long... it took about 30 min probably less the whole process (go through security, wait in line, fill a short form, go to a line again, called my turn, biometrics, picture) and done!

I've heard people said they got a response in 3 weeks . Think NOA replies can be from 1-4wks .

Got all of my email and text notifications last night at about 12.30 am!

USCIS received my application on 10/30 so it took about 8 days total.

Now waiting for the hard copies so I can get a state ID.

05/24/2017 Entered the US on a J1 visa

10/10/2017 We got married!

10/27/2017 AOS Package sent via USPS - Chicago Lockbox

10/30/2017 Package delivered 

10/31/2017 Priority Date

11/07/2017 Received email and text notifications about all 4 forms

11/14/2017 Received hard copies of all 4 NOAs

11/21/2017 Received biometrics appointment notice scheduled for 11/29

12/15/2017 Interview notice - interview is scheduled for January 19th! Holy #$%^ that's less than 3 months from PD!

01/02/2018 EAD + AP approved

01/16/2018 Combo card delivered

01/19/2018 Interview - recommended for approval

01/22/2018 New card is being produced :dance:

You can use your NOA 1 and get a state id?

I think it might depend on the state but I did some research and for Ohio, I think I can get it with the NOA and proof of Ohio residence.

I was wondering on the same thing. I wanted to know if I could already exchange my Canadian drivers license. What other state ID are there aside from Drivers License?

i sent out my AOS packet last week and just received the notification that USCIS had received it. 

I now have a concern, i forgot to send my NOA2 approval notice for my k- visa ! Will this cause an Rfe ? Should i mail it out now or wait for Rfe

 

Please, any input would be greatly appreciated !
