Received Biometrics notice: 11/03/17

Received Courtesy letter for I-693: 11/13/17

Biometrics appointment (walk-in): 11/14/17

Filed AP: 12/12/17

Received text and email for AP: 12/14/17

Received receipt for AP: 12/26/17

Received EAD approval notice: 12/26/17 (notice date 12/19/17)

Received EAD card: 12/28/17

Received AP approval notice: 02/20/18 (notice date 02/15/18)

Received AP (a paper document with a colored statue of liberty on it): 02/26/18

Online update "Interview was scheduled" : 03/14/2019

Received AOS interview notice: 03/21/2019

AOS interview: 04/24/2019

AOS approved: 04/24/2019

Green card in hand: 05/01/19

At last! 

 

After 19 months since applying, the case status changed to "Interview Scheduled." 

 

Does anyone know how long after we receive the interview notice do they schedule the interview? 

 

Anyone interview in the New York office? Any pointers?

Received Mail a week after online Status changed, interview 4 weeks after mail received. So probably 5 weeks from now!

11/25/2017 - AOS Papers Sent

11/27/2017 - Package delivered by FedEx

12/07/2017 - NOA1's received in the mail

12/15/2017 - Biometrics Appointment letter received scheduled for 12/27/2017

12/22/2017 - Biometrics done I-485 & I-765 via Walk-In Brooklyn (done in under 15 Minutes)

02/14/2018 - Service Request to expedite my EAD put in via Hotline plus contacted my Congressman for help

03/13/2018 - EAD & AP approval Letters in the mail (106 days since filing)

03/15/2018 - EAD/AP Card in the mail <3

We are almost at 7 months of waiting and we didn’t get anything.

Did you receive the card yet?  

They received mon renew package on September 04, still no news after 8 months. My previous combo card expired on December and my work permit extension expires on Juin 12 :(

Ours is scheduled very early in the morning, hopefully the IO is a morning person lol

We had the interview on May 18th and got the "New Card is being Produced" couple of days later. Approval Notices arrived in the mail today

Wife and I had our  interview yesterday. Waiting for a decision (up to 120 days according to the officer). Renewed EAD/AP in Nov, still no word on that one.-...has been 6 months now.

Has anyone applied for the EAD/AP combo card and requested for EAD to be expedited? If so, do they approved both the EAD and AP since it’s a combo card or do they approve individually? 

 

When we applied we received two separate notices.
