Yes, initial EAD was approved on December and expires on December too (filed renewal on August 1st).

Called USCIS to ask the reason for cancellation (they didn't answer, just said the same I already knew). They created another SR and hours after that I got an update from my previous SR saying it was answered and they will mail the response. I'll wait the answer and go for infopass.

Our status still reads “response to rfe received in October 2017.” We reached out to the senator who was able to find out that we are technically in line for an interview. Is anyone else still waiting for an interview at Norfolk? Or had an interview there recently? 

 

Our close family friends who applied a few months after us (at the same office) had their interview months ago so it is very agitating that we are still waiting. 

 

We are also curious about if we will need to bring a translator to the interview or if I can translate for me husband? Ive heard differimg answers.

Finally, just over one year after we applied!  Santa Ana scheduled an interview for my Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status!

 Congrats!!  My FO is Santa Ana too. My PD is October 30th. hopefully I get my Interview Scheduled in next 4-5 weeks, My Status is Ready to be scheduled for an Interview from March 14th.

Thank you, previous commenters who detailed their interview. I have mine next Tuesday, so I am getting a little nervous. Looking at what they are asking, it seems to be fine.
