You got me worried so I googled and it seems that i-130 is for the alien spouse petition. I came here on a k1 visa where an i-129F  alien fiance petition was required. I guess this explains why i dont have the i-130.

They ask for a scan or photocopy of your card, not your actual card; it says so in their directions of the renewal as well. You need to keep your card because it is valid until its expiration date.

I sent my EAD Renewal last week, was deliver Wednesday, but I have not received any notification...

I saw similar cases, can I ask how long should I wait before starting to get worry?

They received my package on July 18th (from USPS tracking) and I received the text messages on August 1st (15 days). The letter arrived a week later.

Guys I was putting together my EAD Renewal Application and I found the letter in which my EAD card came in.

At the very bottom it has two (2) barcodes and it states “ use this tear-off portion to speed your application for an extension or replacement card” 

 

1). Did anyone mail that off with your renewal application ?

2). Was the process speedy in receiving a NOA1?

I mailed mine and I got my NOA1 and biometrics confirmation that i didn't need to redo them fairly quickly! I attached it at the front of my packets :) Definitely send it in

Oh darn, I completely forgot about that! I already sent it in without it. I got my NOA1 a week after I sent in my EAD renewal. I am assuming the new card is what will be a lot faster.

Yes I photocopied it, mailed the original, and kept the photocopy. I don't remember exactly but maybe a couple of weeks for the NOA1 :)
