Hello! My interview is on August 15, so I'll try get the blog post out the same day if not the next. Will drop you a message with it once it's live

 

From the docs you listed, I'll be bringing my EAD/AP card, a couple of paystubs, we're on my husbands health plan so we will be bringing that and I'll be bringing my life insurance documents that list my husband as the beneficiary. I've not had a W2 from my work yet! I'm planning on putting the folder of everything together this weekend, so once I've figured out exactly what I'm bringing I can message you with my final list if that's helpful for you?

My interview is on Aug 8. We will also be bringing an updated affidavit of support(as i’ve seen on other AOS adjusters who just had their interviews)  because my husband changed jobs late 2017.

i was wondering about this. we already submitted a whole affidavit of support set with the AOS and i was going to just bring a copy of that. do you mean to bring a fresh set then? complete with all new supporting docs (ie tax transcripts, paystubs, employment letter)?

You got it right! A fresh one. The one we all submitted didn’t have the 2017 tax returns yet on the affidavit of support because we submitted our packets in October 2017. The new affidavit of support that we will be bringing will now include the latest 3 years tax returns : 2015, 2016 and 2017. We will also be bringing the most recent paystubs, new employment letter and my husband’s 2017 w2 as supporting documents.

How do you bring I-9? That was only for employer database use.
