Hope someone can share their AOS interview document checklist. Struggling to prepare mine. I feel like I’m lacking some items

Hi. There is a list of things that they ask you to bring on the interview notice. Go through the list. My advice would be you can add some stuff like photos, cards from your family and friends, a couple of marriage acknowledgement letters, flight tickets with both names on them, utility bill with both names on it, rental agreement with both names on it. I would say it is better to be over prepared than under prepared. The interview officer probably wouldn't ask you to show every document, but when he/she asks, you should be able to show.

10/27/2017 AOS Packet (I-130, I-485, & I-765) mailed out (w/ a money order & official check instead of a regular check)

10/30/2017 Delivered to USCIS

10/31/2017 Received & Priority Date for all the three forms

11/07/2017 Notice Date (on the letter)

11/13/2017 I-797C NOA mail (3 separate notices)

11/17/2017 Biometrics NOA mail

11/09/2017 Notice Date (on the letter)

11/27/2017 Biometrics Appointment

06/04/2018  EAD approved and being produced (No email alert)

06/06/2018 Case ready to schedule for an interview (Received email alert)

06/07/2018 EAD mailed to me

06/11/2018 Received EAD

06/13/2018 Scheduled an interview / will mail you an interview notice

06/18/2018 Received the interview notice

Same here. We got an update today that our interview has been scheduled. Finally!  Did you get your interview date?  Let me know what you come up with and I’ll do the same.

What sort of questions did they ask you at the interview?  Thanks.

check the old website to track the update

Exactly. The old site is what updates for us. Not the new one.

Me too! I was checking the old site today, just out of habit, really not expecting anything but lo and behold the status says my interview has been scheduled!!! Didnt get any email or text about it. The new site didn't get updated  either, which is weird. I expected that the new site would be more up to date, but oh well. Now waiting for the actual notice to come in the mail! I am not sure if i should feel excited that i am finally getting an interview date or if i should feel anxious about it now.

also, last week i finally was offered a job, which i happily accepted, after almost 6 months of looking. :)

Try to gather any documents with both names, like joint bank account, and pictures from your wedding. Of course, you need to include everything else stated on the list too.

Yikes, sounds like bad news for me in Atlanta as well: you seem to have filed in June and only have an interview now, and I filed early September.

I thought I could be expecting it at any time, but I seem to have started waiting about 3 months too early.

Exactly!  We started waiting about 6 months ago!  We are waiting for the letter in the mail that will give us the date. My friend from Germany got her greencard in 7 months back in March with no interview. She lives in the Atlanta area. Good luck. I’ll follow your timeline and keep checking on you.

I see you got your EAD and AP in 74 days. It took us 143 days!

Same exact situation here: still waiting on the interview letter.

I sent a message to a person who had their greencard in 4 months somehow, with interview (atlanta area as well), to ask if they did anything to speed it up.

I am preparing the EAD/AP renewal now. But good to know it's not just me who is still waiting. Not fun, but still, comforting somehow.

I was definitely one of the first, but apparently that means nothing when it comes to AOS. Plus, I did not get a job faster either, as I applied to more uppity jobs and they do not trust a work permit, but only a greencard. So I am basically stuck until I get that greencard.

So it is clearly completely random. Hate that.

I'll follow your timeline as well.

Good luck!
