RFIE said respond within 87 days. Is this already adding the 3 that took to get to my mailbox?

4/30/18 was RFIE so I have 90 days from that to submit the document requested?

Timeline

Hey Everyone,

Just to let you know 10 MONTHS after filing. My AOS interview has finally been scheduled. I'm adjusting from a K1 visa, and my local office is Long Island, New York! I've included my full timeline before, for anyone that is in the same boat. Good luck to everyone else still waiting, fingers crossed your interviews get scheduled soon! I will write back once I've had my interview, it isn't until the 8/15, so a little bit of time yet :) I did apply for my EAD/AP renewal as it said to apply 180 days in advance of your card expiring, and it happened to coincide with my AOS interview being scheduled, but i've kept all the dates in there just incase anyone is also going through the renewal process and wants to see those dates :)

somebody reported on here that they also got their interview scheduled after sending in their EAD/AP renewal, so I wonder if  maybe that reminded USCIS that their case is still pending. i wonder if maybe that may explain why the AOS interview got scheduled almost immediately after them receiving the EAD/AP renewal packet.

Hey! I know, finally! Fingers crossed you hear back about yours soon! Sure, I have a full list of everything I included on my blog https://yaztalksalot.wordpress.com/2018/06/22/renewing-ap-ead-aos-from-k1-visa-still-pending/ (I'm sure I included more than was necessary, but I just wanted to be safe than sorry and the whole process moved pretty speedy for me!) If you've got any questions, feel free to drop me a message!! :)

Yes, I thought the timing was very coincidental!!

Hi SamSam85, USCIS is backed up and the processing time is getting longer and longer... I would rather pay the damage and go to the interview on time and just be done with it. Good luck

Yeah for the interview!

I quote Medi_07... better pay the changing fee for the flight than reschedule the interview!

Good luck!

USCIS case tracker updated my I-485.

7/19/18 confirming that they received my RFE response.

This was a RFIE not RFE though. Not that it matters but does that mean my clock won’t re-start?

I am trying to find when others were approved after they submitted just the RFIE for BC with ET.

I-765 still days 10/4/17 for receipt date.
