So we just had friends get attend their gc interview and get approved. They adjusted from a K1 visa, came from the same country, and applied at the same field office. The only difference is they applied 2 months after us! Im happy for them, but its really hard to understand why our case is still stuck on “we received your response to our rfe, your case is no longer on hold”. Sure feels like a hold!

Hi Zijada! Glad to hear that he came over with no problems. We are still stuck on "Ready to be scheduled" and we filed on June 17 2017 :(

Hey Selma! Yeah he has been here for almost a year its crazy! I was looking at your timeline the other day and was hoping you just didnt update it, sad to hear you guys are still waiting as well. Is that normal for your field office? Ours on average takes around 7 months even though we are past that at this point.

They really test our patience. I have seen people from early last year in my field office coming from Bosnia on a K1 get theirs at the 1 year mark. So, who knows really.

Maybe we will get lucky and not have to do the interview!

Oh how beautiful that would be! Have you seen this happen to anyone?

A couple months ago a Bosnian couple from a different city got their GC with no interview. Hers also only took 3 months! Crazy luck!
