I double-checked my combo card and I was wrong about the date! It expires on December 2018, exactly a year after the approval.

Anyways, in another forum somebody share this link, it seems the existing EAD will automatically be extended for 180 days upon a properly and timely filed I-765 renewal :

I-485 changed to My RFIE was mailed.

I-765 is still at Case was received.

My lawyer sent the Birth Certificate in English from Place of birth: Karachi, Pakistan. I spoke to my attorney and he said that was the 'extract' from Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC). I reside in USA.

No RFIE/RFE was asked when I-130 was approved though.

Can anyone advice on how I can obtain my Birth Certificate? Is it from a Consulate/Embassy in USA? NADRA? I see couple websites offering BC service.

Congrats! Question, were you married to a LPR or USC?

USC. My case is taken by NBC.

To just explain in detail what happened to my case, I contacted Congressman from my region in early April and the case starts moving along right after I contacted them. I keep scheduling infopass and calling USCIS through the phone and got a lot of detail information like when and where my case was taken care of, what additional documents they need, and what the service request answers are before the mail arrives. So I highly encourage to contact congressman if your case is out of normal processing time and keep going to infopass every 2 weeks to get the most updated information.

In addition, my status on USCIS portal was still "under review" but I called USCIS today (a new SR was showing as completed) with a higher tier officer that confirmed with me through the phone saying AP/EAD are approved yesterday.

You mean DHS Form 7001 as contacting the Congress person? What info do you get on InfoPass?
