My PD was actual under the "dates for filing family sponsered.... " when I sent the AOS.

I didn't sent it before it was actual.

Did you wait for your PD to be actual before sending the AOS?

I understand. They will keep over the shelf until your PD becomes current. You didnt do anything wrong, USCIS just changed their mind and now not processing for anyone with their PD not current.

It was current on filing, not yet on action. I know 2 people who did it in 2015 and they got approved and their final action PD wasn’t current. The AOS clearly won’t happen until the final action is current, but EAD/AP should... I believe there is a huge backlog, USCIS wouldn’t be replying me that I will get an answer on my case within 60 days a month ago they would simply say it is not assigned for processing as they state in other comm.

On the 12th of April I got an email from Uscis saying "our case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

When I called again the USCIS they told me that I need to wait until the 12th of May, and that my case was with an officer..

Same, I told them about expediting through a Job offer, contacting senator o ombudsman and they recommended to stay still because it will come soon. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later

You don’t. You’ll be in an AOS pending status, no need to maintain the F1 after you applied. Unless you have any specific reason you want to keep it (CPT/OPT) you can drop out, no work or travel til the EAD/AP comes back.

For what I know, because my husband is "just" a LPR I need to maintain my stupid F1 status...
