Hi guys, after a long wait and no updates from USCIS. I received an email this morning saying that USCIS has taken an action in my case. When I logged in I found out that my status has changed from case was received to we approved your case !! Ead was approved finally, I’m so happy !!!!! I hope you guys get some good news in these coming days.

6 months after applying I got an email saying they took action on my case- I logged on to find an RFE. 😳😞😰

I am sorry for that. But don't worry! When you receive your RFE, answer ASAP. 

In my case, after 7 days that USCIS received the response for the RFE, my EAD was approved.

That’s comforting thank you ruined my day completely- what was your RFE for??

I got an RFE last week as well, they wanted a 2017 tax return. I'm waiting for my response to get to them and hopefully i also get approved in a week! It's been a loooong wait

Just had an update on my green card status

 

”At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. 

Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information”

 

what does this mean? We went from interview pending scheduling to this today. 😰

Interview? I wish. My office is taking 10 to 18 months. Hopefully before October.

Oh I see.. I think my interview will be in Seattle office. It seems taking over 11 months. Another long wait..

I am still waiting for my SSN card. Ha..

I got the same RFE. They asked me to send the most recent tax retrun cuz I only sent W2 with AOS. So I sent 2016 tax return. They received my response to RFE on March 22nd. My EAD and AP got approved on April 3rd. They updated my account on April 5th.

myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov (This website seems updating faster than case status one)

 

Your EAD will get approved soon. Good luck.

I filed on October 19. I am Salt Lake City.
