That's good to know. But they just told me that my fingerprint that I took in November didn't go through. I think it is because i corrected my name while taking Fingerprints, so name didn't match with my application that had name typo error. Ombudsmen and Senator are contacting USCIS now. I don't know when I can get another appointment letter for Biometrics. I requested to get expedited due to my husband's deployment. It is still under review. Hopefully ombudsmen or Senator can get any responses from USCIS soon. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I see. It's really frustrating this waiting game. But hang in there. Hopefully you can get your biometric appointment letter ASAP.

As of today they’ve officially moved on to “processing” as of November 1. No response to multiple SRs

Go figure how they process their cases. How is possible they had been working in NOV cases in the end of January when many of us still waiting? I think they skip some cases...

Have you contacted your congressman and Ombudsman? Sometimes it helps.

Filed October 5th 2017. Only case received for EAD and pending interview scheduling for I485. It’s march 15 2018. Nothing from USCIS. Files 3 SR, called and filed with the senator. No response. Your not the only one. We didn’t even receive an RFE

I still can't even track my case online. Pd October 24th. Did a SR 2 weeks ago, still nothing.

My case was the same way then one night it changed to name was updated and i did not request it. Googled what it could have possibly meant and most forums stated when someone begins to work on your file the status is sometimes updated to that

I just received a pink color letter requesting RFE for I-485. I am still waiting for I-765 and I-131 to get approved tho. Are they skipping EAD process and working on my I-485? I am so confused. They asked me to send my husband's Federal income tax return submitted to IRS for the most recent tax year. So they can make a final decision on my case. Are they asking for 2016 tax year? I and my husband haven't able to file tax return for 2017 because we need my social security number to be able to add me as his dependant. Anyone has idea what year of tax return I am supposed to send?

When Ombudsman office sent me a message, and said that USCIS had sent me a RFE, they wrote:

" Interim benefits, such as those applied for on Forms I-131 and I-765, are unable to be adjudicated while the underlying Form I-485 application is held in suspense for the submission of initial evidence. Once USCIS receives the response to the RFE, processing will resume on these cases."

So, they are related.

I believe they are asking for 2016 IRS since your husband could not file 2017 yet. My husband is so pissed off because he could not file 2017 either . We are having some problems because I don't have yet my SSN.
