My PD date is October 4, 2017

156 still no EAD

I contacted congressman Ombudsman office in regards to my delay and they reached out to USCIS, they requested for it to be expedited yesterday and today it was approved and card in production FINALLY!!!!.

Just so everyone is aware if you are not, there is no longer a 90 day period as told by the USCIS officer. Because of their new system, they work on applications as they are received so there is no time span as to how long the process can take sadly. My advice do not sit and just wait, try to do as much as you can. Info passes help as well and if you find that you can never get an appointment date, the calendar opens during the early parts of the morning try checking around 1:00am and so forth.

i did SR do u think its gelpful more than info pass? coz i tried to travked it it says they didnt assigned it yet

I did three service requests and got no responses, contacting the congressman office helped most, i actually did it online, they got my i765 expedited for me

Can u please share what u asked the congressman? Because i did ask and the eventually replied u r not eligible for expedite and the congressman didnt seeem to know what to do in this case

I told them that my i765 was beyond processing time, that i had 4 SR that were not responded to and I could not understand how november filers were receiving their EAD’s while there were still so many October filers that had not. I had all my service request confirmation numbers that i also gave to them and that was it

I so hate when they don't update their timeline and they be the same people asking questions about approval.

PEOPLE UPDATE YOUR TIMELINE PLEASE  THAT WAY OTHER PEOPLE CAN HAVE AN IDEA WHEN THEY WILL GET APPRAL AND SEE WHO ALL GET APPROVED. THANKS.

On March 7, my congressman office said that my EAD would be put to expedite, but days passed and nothing. Then, today Ombudsman sent me a message saying that USCIS has sent me a RFE. Well, it was not the kind of action that I was expecting, but I think I should not complain. I have seen some people seeing their cases moving after they answer their RFE. Let's see!

As of March 9, 2018, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR-, is currently not assigned for processing.

It should have another update?
