Hello

I just want to ask if I can get my dependent card on US embassy and what are the requirements?My husband won't be able to go with me and I can't call the embassy in Manila in Manila right now cause I'm still here in the US but ill have my 2weeks vacation in the Philippines and I'm planning to get my ID there.Thank you.

I find it a bit unusual but I guess you can try. You will need, at least, your marriage certificate. 

When I got mine my husband was with me so I suppose you should have at least a copy of his military ID which by the way is illegal to photocopy so good luck with that.

I would just get it done at the base where you guys are stationed at.

My husband's still in VA for his AIT(he's transitioning from Marines to Army) that's why he won't be able to go with me in the Philippines.And the latest appointment for the nearest base here in CA will be late October.Were(me and my kid) going to PH this coming week.I just looked up the manila embassy website it says that I just need power of attorney and a.c. I don't know what a.c.means though.anyway, thank you for the reply.

You might wanna double check that cuz I did a quick search on US Embassy manila website and what I read is different than what you wrote. They want, as I suspected, marriage certificate, birth certificate etc.

POA is super easy to get so you won’t have any issue with that.
