Also did USCIS tell you by e-mail or updating your status on case tracker about when they sent your case to NVC?

 

My 130 was approved on 10/2 and received letter in mail on 10/4 but online its still saying "Case Received" I keep calling NVC but they haven't received it yet.!

Texas Service Center is taking long in sending cases to NVC...

 

My case was approved 09/25 and NVC received it after a month (check out my timeline)... First your USCIS status needs to change to "Sent to department of State"

 

after its changed - NVC will receive it in a week or so

 

once NVC receives it, you have to wait another week for a case number

 

NVC wont receive it untill your case status changes in my opinion

 

i call NVC every 5 days after my USCIS case status changed to "sent to department of state"

Okay, got it. My status hasn't changed yet. Do you remember how long after approval your stats changed online?

I think at 3 week mark .. about 15-20 Business Days

Hello everyone. So I just called NVC today and was told that they've received our case from USCIS on 25 OCTOBER which was 5 days ago. Also said that I should just follow the instructions in the email (which was verified over the phone). Oddly there's no email. So I went to check the case in NVC web site and it says:

 

"Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online..."

 

Should I wait for the email, Since it says on the status online that the instructions are also found on the website?

Hey Guys! 

Tomorrow I'll be filing AOS but I had a quick question. I receive payment through my employer as personal checks. Do you think a verification of employment letter and copy of the checks is sufficient information to send along with my W-2 and Tax Returns? I don't want to have issues with NVC.

I called them 10/26 and got my case and iin over the phone and the agent told me i would get notification via email with case and iin along with instructions. After 1am i got two back to back emails from nvc one addressed to me the other to my husband it was our welcome letter. So call them back later this evening and if they don't have a case and iin for you today call them back tomorrow. By the way the evening/night agents are a lot more friendly 

Thanks for that great info. I will try calling them again tonight then, hopefully they respond similar to yours. As in we get the email soon afterwards.

After a long long long time and after my second scan date finally my online status showed "At NVC" hopefully case complete. My scnd scan date was 19th sep.

After 8.5 weeks, my status says "At NVC" and also my AOS fee disappear. As per Vj's previous members experience. Its a CC. I have not call NVC but I will tonight and make sure. My SD is 8/31. Just wanted to update my fellow members. Good Luck everyone, those are waiting for CC.
