they r all not the same.. 6 weeks before when i call at nvc a lady picked up my call n she explained very well regarding my checklist and she said she will make a request to his supervisor to review my case within 6 weeks.. i think they hv nothing in their hands.

Hi Lazybones,

how do you know NVC has received your file?  I was from TSC too and have similar approval date as you.  I received a mail 2 weeks ago from USCIS informing me they have mailed my file to NVC.

Update: received an email on Oct 20 with the same subject/check list for the birth certificate again. Although they received it for the second time on Oct. 2nd. I freaked out! called them On Oct 20 and asked whats going on... They said to not be worried about it and it was just sent to your previous request for the supervisor review  So I'm still waiting for the check list to be reviewed. Another famous 11 weeks from Oct 2nd

I'm so sorry to hear that.  Hopefully they will get that straightened out soon.  This is why I get so worried.   I worked so hard on that package if it was held up even more for something missing it would be upsetting...I guess its better than them asking for it during the interview holding your visa up..but still wish I had more control.  Hopefully it will not be another 11 weeks for you I have seen checklist reviewed much faster.

Wow why did they take so long to send to NVC mine was sent in 4 days and I got my case number 5 days after it was sent. Sorry you have to go through this wait. Smh!!!

My AOS and IV packet was delivered to NVC on Monday the 23rd of October. I just called today to get the scan date and the person I spoke to was confused as to what I was talking about. 😩

how do you know what your scan date is?

how do you know what your scan date is? 

Maybe ask him if they received your packages not what is your scan date .. as this term ”scan date” is used here on this site not with NVC. For us, it took 3-4 days after they got them to get a confirmation of when they scanned them.

Yes scan date is not a NVC term.  They will not know what you are talking about.  You need to ask what day they received your package.

I had the same confusion when I started calling them.   A grouchy lady kept telling me she didn't know what I was referring too.  LOL!

I called NVC today and I was told that my case was reviewed yesterday and they need a police certificate from another country...

I have already received that email by the way
