All the documents you sent to USCIS is still valid for NVC review. You don't need to get a new one. The only thing you did not sent to USCIS is police certificate and beneficiary passport photo copy that you need to get a new one. Make sure what kind of documents you need for your country. Different country has different requirements. And YES you can send the AOS and IV package after you pay all the payment (AOS fee and IV fee) but before DS260 form. But what I understand so far is that, NVC won't put your case in the system unless everything is done.  Below website very helpful for getting ready for NVC process. Read thru this website.

Good luck !!

I actually did send police report and passport photo copy to uscis too lol so I guess I don't need nothing new then....ok, I will research it. Thank you for your help. God bless !!

My Scan date is 9/14 I'm thinking if all is set at NVC and no checklist I should have CC first week of November,  Interview possibly in December and Inshallah my husband home in January.  These are all guesses...I wish I knew for sure so I can plan all my upcoming trips but that's our life at the moment...ugh!

What I understand so far after digging so much in the Dhaka embassy is that after CC they will take 2-3 months to give you interview date. But there is no perfect timeline. It's just a guess. My SD in 8/31, still waiting for CC.

I believe the police report is valid for 6months so you may have to get a new one.

Even if you sent in the police report and photocopy of your passport page, I would resubmit it in with your IV paperwork. And I believe the police report is good for 1 year. So if its been passed a year on it, get a new one to submit in.

Okay I guess it depends on which country you are from because in Ghana it says on the report that it’s only good for only 6 months.
