I've been calling lately (my case sent to DOS Sep 25 and they received it last week) so if you choose option 2, they will be able to tell you whether you case is in the system, but they wont be able to access to it for the case and invoice #. Once they see it in the system, they will ask you to call option 5, which will be a different team and they will be able to access to your case for more info.

However, option 5 will not be able to see if NVC has received it if case number / invoice number is not assigned yet. So keep calling option 2 until they said they have the case. It takes a few days for the case to be set up.

Mine currently was assigned an invoice number but not a case number when i called last Thursday. Need to call again monday also to add email addresses to the case after they established the case #.

Thats helpful thank you!

I'm joining you all in the October 2017 NVC filer~

Quick question that I cannot seem to find the answer to. I've paid the AOS fee and it shows paid in the CEAC, It also shows the IV fee not paid, and when I click on to pay it shows $00.00 due and doesn't have a circle to choose to pay it. How long before it allows me to pay it?

Thanks for any info!!!

Hi all

I've noticed exactly the same! Id like to know too. Our AOS fee has been paid Friday, so I give it till Wednesday to show "paid".

I have asked hubby to see if he can log on and pay the IV fee - he'll try later today. I was thinking maybe it's because my IP address is outside the US. Lol.

I'm sure one may pay both fees right after each other? Or will the system wait till the AOS fee is "PAID" then open the payment circle for the IV fee?

Any suggestions anyone / info?

Thanks!

Our AOS fee changed to paid on 10/11/17 so I am guessing I need to wait until at least the 18th to see if the portal will open. Of course overly anxious to pay!!!

You paid the AOS on the 11th Oct as well? Did it change to paid the same day?

(Noted this on your timeline.)

I paid it on 10/11/17 and it changed to paid on 10/13 even though the money was deducted on the 11.

It happened in my case as well but it opened up within 3-4 days. So I would say it is normal nothing to worry, just give it a few days. Good Luck !!

Hi. My checklist is EXACTLY same as yours. My Husband's birth certificate missing, Which I absolutely 100% sure I included with the other documents. My original Scan date is August 15, and I received the check list after 6 weeks. I didn't bother to call for the second scan date since I was so annoyed. But the lady on the phone when I called to make sure the birth certificate was the only thing they needed, told me it takes 11 weeks to re-review the documents. When I said but you reviewed them in 6 weeks the first time, she said Unfortunately we have to give the 11 weeks as the time frame to all applicants. So I think it's a routine answer to everybody. Lets hope they complete the case much earlier than the 11 weeks :)

So lets hope and pray that its also 6 weeks for a CC!!
