Case Complete to Interview November 2017

Timeline

Good night!!!

 

My husband upcoming interview is in November 1st in Dominican Republic. I live in NY and I am coming for the interview. 

I am preparing our folder and here is a checklist of the documents and proofs I have, Please let me know if you think I am missing something.

 

-Original and copies birth and marriage certificate, police report ( no antecedentes penales)-

-my affidavit with 4 recent pay stubs, letter from work, transcripts 2014,2015 and 2016, w2 2016, 1040 2016, 

- copy of my us passport, certificated of naturalization, proof of domicile, confirmation ds-260 and pics of the relashionship.

-interview letter and medicals

 

Did I miss something?

 

TIMELINE

29 December 2015 - married in Dominican Republic

 

USCIS Phase

21 November 2016 - I-130 sent to USCIS Chicago Lockbox 

22 November 2016 I-130 received at Nebraska Service Center

25 November - NOA1 received in the mail

???? - NOA 2 via e-mail, app and USCIS website

????- NOA 2 received in the mail 

????- Case Was Sent to Department of State 

 

NVC Phase

????- Case received by NVC

???? - NVC case number assigned

???? -  DS-261 Completed Online
???? - Welcome e-mail received, AOS fee paid
????- IV fee Invoiced, IV fee paid
????- DS-260 Completed
???? - AOS and IV package sent

??? - Scan date

??? - Case Complete

It seems like you got everything in hand but you didn't mention photos of his? The passport photos with white background taken with 6 months of the interview date.

 

Also, you might wanna check if the usembassy there needs any specific documents? Can't think of any..but maybe your originals, too or so?

No.. I’ll call at night to give them some time

Who said they were going to start scheduling by the end of the month? I was told first 2 weeks of the month

I don't know why I call they are no help... But I just got off the phone with then, no interview date for me yet, but they said they have already started scheduling for December and they will keep scheduling until the second week of November.

Just got off the phone with them and they said they have already started scheduling...

I was informed the same thing. First 2 weeks of each month. But if you look at the trends depending on your embassy it varies. My Embassy is in CDJ Mexico and from the trend it seems they schedule the last weeks of each month.
