My p4 letter say that I have to bring with me to the interview the civil documents that I submitted to the NVC. Does it include my wife's (USC) documents, like birth certificate, ID and any other? Or it's just my civil documents?

In your case, I think it is your DS- 160 confirmation number you should input. Click on 'update profile' button at the top left corner. That website for s a bit sensitive. Complete each page and continue to the last page just as @Ebony1 directed earlier. You'll get it done.

@Ebony1 I have update my profile and filled all information , I selected CR1 category and enter ds260 confirmation so it says transaction completed and gave me a printer able version confirmation .is that all. And hope I followed the right direction?

YES YOU DID. Remember to take the confirmation with you to the interview. Good luck

Hey, well basically scheduling for December will not start until the 27th. It's how it has been this year (nvc starts sending interview dates out during the 3 last days of a month "x" and continues until the middle of the following month "y" for the month after "z").

I think with Halloween coming on next Monday Tuesday they'll be off? Right?! So some might get scheduled this Friday and then wait on some good new for the rest starting the week after.

I hope and pray we all get interview dates in the first half of December.

Our anniversary is approaching it's in 2 months exactly. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I pray so too , good luck to us

i got this letter from nvc. is this typical before you get a date or am i going to have to wait several months... my priority date is Oct 24 2016

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case.  The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant’s visa application.

NVC schedules appointments one month in advance.  The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified.  Most appointments are set within three months of NVC’s receipt of all requested documentation.  However, before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current.  This can delay receipt of an appointment.  You can track your priority date using the Visa Bulletin on travel.state.gov.

When an appointment is available, we will notify the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable).  The applicant can prepare now by reading about the embassy’s interview requirements online at nvc.state.gov/interview. Thank you for your patience.

The embassy may require additional documents at the interview.  For example, if the following three items are all true, the applicant must bring a new police certificate to the visa interview:

•    He or she is more than 16 years old;
•    The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
•    He or she still lives in the country that issued the certificate.

The applicant should not make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the embassy has issued a visa.

Sincerely,

National Visa Center

yes, this is the standard letter... make sure you review the intsructions regarding possible need to get more recent police certificates.. if ALL 3 items are true... you can call the NVC regulalry and ask if an interview has been scheduled.. this is the fastest way to get the news... as the papeerwork / email will lag the actual allocation.

IR1 /CR 1visas do not have a numerical limit so your visa is available.. no wait time, except for the wait time to get an interview. Almost there!!!!

ok great! our police certificate was issued in july of this year. i will give mvc a call to see if the interview date has been scheduled.
