CC September 22nd. Nothing yet.

I'm still confused if they schedule interviews the first two weeks of the month, or by the end of the month (27th).

Hi @Edrod

My CC is the same as yours. My husband called them yesterday and they said they schedule interviews the first days of the month and also by end of month.

Congratulations!!!! It shows that you are in this process since 2010, and it took 4years for USCIS to approve your petition? I can understand your joy. Do you know why it took all that time? Congratulations once more and Good Luck with the Future..

because its my mom that  petition for me and that category takes about 7 years to complete. thanks

We got our CC today!!

How long does it usually take for the case to arrive at the embassy?

Congrats! Once they have all of the available appointments scheduled for a particular embassy, they send the case files to that embassy, since it's more cost-effective. Depending on when your interview is scheduled, it could take as little as a few days or a few weeks.

My husband received the interview date today for Nov 13th. He is currently residing in Dubai, and the interview is scheduled in India. He will attend the interview, but once he gets his Visa can he travel back to Dubai for sometime? He is planning to come to US from India once he is done with his Dubai visit after interview.
