Hello I have a questions I am filling all the forms and documents to send my k1 form with photos and everything but the affidavit  I have to send it with the package or I have to send it later? Can you guys please help me with this,  My mom would be my co sponsor, And I guess I will fill one affidavit too, But the question is should I send the affidavit along with the k1 forms or It will be later asked for?

I already answered. The affidavit is brought to the interview. It isn't sent anywhere.

Okay let me ask again cause I think I didn't explain good enough, I am the petitioner I am a us citizen I want to bring my fiance who is colombian to us, So right Now I am filling the form I-129F, I am asking if in the package I have to send the affidavit or If I don't have to send it along with the package instead they will be asking for that later on.

I understand perfectly the situation and my answer is the same. You do NOT send it to any authority. You're fiancé will need to bring it to the interview. He is the one who will need it at the time of interview. I don't know how I can be more clear.

You basically wait until you get approved for the I-129 part first (or atleast alot closer to that date). Then you can gather all the information for addidavit and send it to your fiance. She will have to go through an interview at the consulate to get her visa approved, and that is when he/she will have to show it.

Oh okay, I thought the affidavit was needed in the package, so I shouldn't be worried about that right now, just the forms, check, proof of relationship, and a letter saying he is willing to marry me. Thanks, so the affidavit is only needed to show his financial support at the time of the interview, and when his visa is approved and he wants to change his status.

There needs to be a signed and dated letter of intent from each of you (one each). 

 

Not quite, he will show the affidavit in order to get approved, not when he is approved. And not when he is about to change status - that is another affidavit, that is sent with the AOS

After the I-129F is approved, it is sent to NVC for very basic processing (get a case number) then to the embassy. Then your fiance will collect papers, fill in forms (including the DS-160 to apply for the K-1 visa), and interview at the embassy/consulate. At that interview is where the I-134 is presented.

 

After the visa is issued, he enters the US, and you marry within 90 days, he needs to file for AOS. An I-864 from you is needed at that time.
