We had our interview scheduled in Mumbai India on Sept 29. We were still waiting on the police clearance (pcc) this past week, and the officer assured us we would have it in hand. Well we didnt, and when we tried to reschedule Wednesday, the reschedule link was already gone online. So unfortunately, it was a NO SHOW.

Now we are trying to figure out how to reschedule the appointment. I was told I can reschedule it online using the receipt once the system tags it as a no show, so we dont have to pay again but I don't understand how to do that. We were told it would be tagged 24 hours after the interview, and it has been over 24 hours now, but we dont see online where it shows no show or how to reschedule it.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've been through this. I had a issue but i did go to the Mumbai Consulate and the lady at the counter asked me to re-schedule the interview with the same receipt. Within 24 hours the link was activated and i was able to put in the same receipt number on UStraveldocs website. I'd say keep trying to log on ustraveldocs and see if the receipt is activated on or not and since it's weekend am thinking it will be done by tuesday as monday being holiday for the consulate.
